The muscles of the scalp are important for the trichologist to study.
Epicranius (occipito-frontalis) muscle is the main scalp muscle:
it consists of the: Frontalis, Occipitalis, and Galea aponeurotica (also called the epicranial aponeurosis) which links the frontalis and occipitalis.
